FAQ

Q. How large of an custom egress window cover can you build?
A. The largest custom cover we've build today is 21ft long 79" away from the house.

A. My custom containers are made of welded light gauge steel which makes them strong yet light. If your child steps between the support braces the polycarbonate will bow in but absolutely will no brake and it can be popped back up into shape.

A. Our covers are made of welded light gauge steel, not bolted together making them the strongest available on the market.

Q. What type of base will your covers fit on?
A. We make cover which will work on wood, metal, concrete, brick or the composite style frames.

Q. Do you make a standard size cover?
A. Metal or composite containers are often made standard but installation contractors more than likely do not take exact measurements when mounting the containers to the concrete basement walls.

Q. Can my swing out window open under your cover?
A. Absolutely.

Q. Will the wind blow off your cover and how easily can they be removed?
A. We weld little clip to our cover so that they will not move left/right or away from the house. You can push off the cover from below or lift them off your containers from the outside.

A. Depending on what design you need, we always dome the covers up 3-5 inches next to the house in the center which allow water to run off easily and keeps the cover clean.

A. We are the only company I know of that builds support that go from the outside foundation to the house wall that allow you to slide the cover into position for pushing the cover on/off with little effort.
